There are 15 fun elements throughout the course, including cargo nets and a suspension bridge. Guests on the rope courses are always connected with secure cables and harnesses, so there is never any real danger involved!
2. Adventure Park Ziplines
If you ever wanted to soar above the ground like an eagle, now is your chance at Adventure Park Ziplines! This attraction within the Adventure Park at Five Oaks offers several amazing zipline rides where you can fly through the sky at speeds reaching 50 miles per hour! The ziplines at Adventure Park Ziplines range from 450 feet to 2,000 feet, with the highest point reaching 150 feet off of the ground. The zipline tour is designed for anyone over the age of 3, although young children must ride tandem with their parent or one of the park’s professional guides. Children below the age of 16 must also be accompanied by an adult the entire time they are at the park. These rules are set because safety is always the top priority!
3. Five Oaks Riding Stables
If you love nature and horseback riding, then check out the area’s premier horseback riding destination on the trail at Five Oaks Riding Stables! This 70 acre park contains stables with more than 60 horses who know the historical trail by heart. While riding your horse, you will encounter the remnants of an authentic moonshiners still and possibly some of the local critters. After all, Great Smoky Mountains National Park is home to 66 different species of mammals and 200 bird species!
