This spring, guests at the Oak Tree will have an incredible opportunity to see the Queen of Country Music, Ms. Dolly Parton herself! Everyone’s favorite Smoky Mountain native will be less than 10 minutes away from our hotel for the Annual Dolly Homecoming Parade. With spectacular floats and live entertainment, the Dolly Parade is one Pigeon Forge event you do not want to miss.

Where and When
Dolly and her entourage will parade along the Parkway in Pigeon Forge. The route starts at Traffic Light #7 and continues north to Traffic Light #3.
The parade will be held on Friday May 2, 2014. 6:00 p.m. is the official start time, but it’s a good idea to come early because over 50,000 spectators are expected to show up!
What to Expect
The Dolly Parade has it all! There will be parade floats, marching bands, baton twirlers, horses, dancers, and so much more. You might even see some familiar faces, because entertainers from a handful of local shows and attractions will also be part of the fun.
The most exciting part of the event is obviously the chance to see Dolly! As the grand marshall of the parade, Ms. Parton will be waving to the crowds from the most magnificent float of them all.
Dolly will also be making two special appearances at the Dollywood theme park the weekend of the parade. Right before she hits the Parkway on Friday, Dolly will get a proper send off from the staff and visitors at Dollywood! The fun continues on Saturday, when Dolly will tour the theme park in her very own horse drawn carriage.
