The Great Smoky Mountains always celebrate Independence Day with a bang, and this year is no exception! There will be an amazing Pigeon Forge fireworks display 10 minutes away from the Oak Tree Lodge as part of the annual July 4th Patriot Festival. Jam packed with food and entertainment, the 2014 Patriot Festival will feature the chart topping country group Lonestar. Where and when is the 2014 Patriot Festival?

The 24th Annual Patriot Festival will be held at Patriot Park, located at 186 Old Mill Avenue, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863. Patriot Park is dedicated to Sevier County veterans, making it the perfect place for a July 4th celebration.

The festivities will kick off around noon, with live music starting in the early afternoon.

What can I expect at the Patriot Festival?

Patriot Festival is one of the most popular events in Pigeon Forge, attracting thousands of people each year. Admission to the park is completely free! Food vendors will be on hand all day to serve up burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, and more.

This year’s stellar musical entertainment promises to be the highlight of the festival. Lonestar, the headlining Little girl holding the American flagband, is known for their Top 10 smash hits including “Amazed,” “Tell Her”, and “My Front Porch Looking In”.

Before Lonestar takes the stage, guests will have the chance to hear some great local bands including the Tim Kellar Band, Adkins & Loudermilk, and the Jimmy Buffett tribute act Sons of Sailors.

When will the Pigeon Forge fireworks start?

The fireworks display will begin around 9:30 p.m. Every year, the fireworks seem to get bigger and better, so 2014 should be a year to remember! The celebration at Patriot Park will end around 10:00 p.m.
